SIGNAL > NOISE v1.4 : MIKE SERVITO
Saturday, December 12 at 10:00pm - 4:00am
Facebook   Resident Advisor

OVERVIEW

SIGNAL > NOISE v1.4: the fifth update in Rochester’s series of intimate gatherings featuring DJs and artists at the forefront of house and techno.

MIKE SERVITO first caught the DJing bug in Detroit’s underground rave scene of the 1990’s, where the elder pioneers of techno inspired a new generation of young tastemakers. Always remaining true to himself and his roots, Servito has steadily climbed the ranks among his contemporaries in the global underground, earning a reputation as a discerning selector and fluid mixer. Soulful house music, gritty techno, raw acid grooves, and classic gems all find a place in his legendary mixes.

An alumni of Detroit’s Ghostly Productions, resident at The Bunker in Brooklyn (where he currently lives), regularly featured at Interdimensional Transmissions’ storied No Way Back parties in Detroit, and even awarded the prestigious “#1 Live DJ Set of 2014” by the Resident Advisor website, Servito is unquestionably at the top of his game, which is why you shouldn’t dare miss his first-ever western NY appearance: a rare 4-hour set on what is rapidly becoming known as one of the most energetic dance floors in the region.
